You can make a difference

Everyone deep down, somehow wants to make a difference…
If you desire to make a difference in the world, you must be different from the world.
I believe one person can make a difference and everyone should try…
Little things matter in making a difference,
Little things make all the difference.

For me, EFFORT is the most important factor in making a difference…

To make a difference in someone’s life, you don’t have to be brilliant, come from wealth, beautiful, or perfect. You just have to care enough and be there.
To make a difference in business, a solid vision and little consistent efforts towards this vision mean everything…

One of my favorite stories on making a difference is the story of the boy and the starfish …

Once upon a time, there was an elderly man walking around by the beach,
where he saw a young boy picking up something and throwing it back into the water…

The elderly man came close and called out…
May I ask what it is that you’re doing?

The young boy paused and looked up and replied, “Throwing starfish into the Ocean”

The older man smiled and replied “I must ask then, why are you throwing starfish back into the ocean”

The younging replied, “The sun is up and the tide is going out, if I don’t throw them in, they will die.”

Confused, the elderly man responded, “young boy, do you realize that there are over 10,000 Starfish scattered across the beach, you can’t possibly make them all, you can’t make a difference”

The younging Listened Calmly, bent down, picked up another starfish and threw it into the ocean, and then responded, “it made a difference for that one”

Most times we think we are too insignificant or too unimportant to make a difference,
We couldn’t be further from the truth…
Work towards making a difference in your life…
You don’t want to have simply visited the world.
Also, know this, No act of kindness no matter how small is ever wasted.
The difference we make in other people’s lives is eternal.
You may find that making a difference for others makes the biggest difference in you.

Never forget that you are one of a kind.
Never forget that if there weren’t any need for you in all your uniqueness to be on this earth, you wouldn’t be here in the first place.
Never forget, no matter how overwhelming life’s challenges and problems seem to be, that one person can make a difference in the world.
In fact, it is always because of one person that all the changes that matter in the world come about.
So be that one person.
