Trumps in; Whats next for Crypto
Well, Elon may just turn out to be the world’s first trillionaire. Lol.
For real, with the USA having a Pro-Bitcoin President, America is most likely gearing up to set up a Bitcoin Reserve. This could be a huge step toward establishing Bitcoin as the Global Monetary Reserve.
Currently, the USA holds 200,000 BTC, worth approximately $14 billion. But to maintain their position as the Global Reserve Currency, the USA would need to hold around 1 million to 4 million Bitcoins. No small feat, but very possible. And here’s the real opportunity — it’s for other countries, especially developing ones.
Unlike fiat (regular money), anyone can participate in Bitcoin, and governments around the world are jumping in. El Salvador has been accumulating 1 BTC every day since 2021, investing $103 million, which now stands at $389.5 million in BTC value, yielding a profit of $286.5 million. Bhutan’s government has also been quietly accumulating Bitcoin, now holding 12,500 BTC.
Where Does the Opportunity Lie?
The opportunity lies in recognizing that Bitcoin is no longer an experimental technology but an asset that’s here to stay. Right now, at current prices, Bitcoin is likely very, very cheap. When it reaches $1,000,000 it won’t matter if you bought it at $67,000, $69,000 or $63,000.
Countries need to start creating a Bitcoin Reserve.
Several factors matter when countries compete globally: economic output, military strength, and currency strength etc. Currency Strenght is where Bitcoin comes in. Imagine holding 1,000,000 Bitcoins, holding 5% of the worlds reserve currency.
The strength of a nation’s currency and its share in global trade directly correlate with the power and influence that country holds on the world stage. This impacts every aspects of a country, National debt can be reduced, This could mean more investments in technology which can mean long term prosperity, it could be an issue of National security by investing in better Defense tools and tech.
The possibilities are endless.
Right now, the United States Dollar leads as the world receive currency. Some argue that China might overtake the USA, given their rapid growth. My answer? It doesn’t matter. Why? Because the next Global Reserve Currency will be Bitcoin.
If this is even remotely true, then the countries holding Bitcoin will be the true winners.
This is the future and here’s the beauty — any country can participate in this future.
Any country can compete on this scale.
Stay doing the most,
