Can you count to Ten?
If the answer is yes, Then you can win.

Before we jump in, let me amplify the role of creative thinking in this process.

What is creative thinking?

The concept of creativity says that we don’t simply accept everything being handed to us.

Artists paint to create a new reality, not merely to accept the one they have been given. The inventor designs ways for life to be lived. Sometimes that makes it easier, and sometimes not.

To be creative is not simply accepting everything around you for how it is. It would help if you looked at everything closely, constantly questioning and dreaming of better ways to do, think, feel, taste, hear, and experience. It’s from that constant curiosity and exploration that the best ideas bloom.

Our mission at Patricia is to work smartly, combining original ideas to create smooth financial experiences for all our users.

Creative thinking is definitely a part of this.
And there is actually an exercise for creative thinking.
I’ll tell you a story.

A story of a pastor who wanted to rent a building for a church.
He went around for weeks, but there was no suitable place for this church.
This pastor was getting frustrated… then one day, a random idea hit him.

‘Count to ten and win’

He picked up the paper napkin, and on the backside, he wrote the numbers “1” to “10” vertically on the left side of the paper, and he let his imagination run wild. The list looked like this:

1. Rent a school building.
2. Rent a Masonic Hall.
3. Rent an Elk’s Lodge.
4. Rent a morgue chapel.
5. Rent an empty warehouse.
6. Rent a community club building.
7. Rent a Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
8. Rent a Jewish synagogue.
9. Rent a drive-in theater.
10. Rent an empty piece of land, a tent, and folding chairs.

This pastor had made his list, and he started checking off items from the list.

Suddenly what had seemed totally impossible now seemed possible. Suddenly, the word impossible sounded irresponsible, extreme, reactionary, and unintelligent.

Eventually, it ended up that item number 9, was the winning item.

He got a church in a cinema for Sundays and the rest was history.

What am I trying to say?
You won’t win if you don’t begin!
This simple trick, Can make all the difference.

A few years later, same pastor had been growing his church and this theater was now too small.
He needed $1 million to build a new church.

Can you guess what this pastor did? He tapped into Possibility thinking.

He picked up a piece of paper and wrote

Get 1 person to give $1,000,000.
Get 2 people to give $500,000.
Get 4 people to give $250,000.
Get 10 people to give $100,000.
Get 20 people to give $50,000.
Get 40 people to give $25,000.
Get 50 people to give $20,000.
Get 100 people to give $10,000.
Get 200 people to give $5,000.
Get 1,000 people to give $1,000.

Suddenly, what seemed totally impossible, became possible.
Anyone can count to ten — and anyone can be a success!
It’s true. Count to ten and win.
This simple possibility thinking game can help anyone with any problem.
